Our Next Balavihar class is on December 19th. There is no class on Dec 12th.
Jayasree Aunty is back from India!!. We were all very happy to see her back, we missed her while she was away. The Kids did a 'fantastic' job in recap-ing all the alphabets they learnt so far in their 'Alphabet Safari' for Jayasree Aunty. Now she is up-to speed as well, alongwith the kids.

Morning Prayers
- AUM chanting
- Sahanavavathu

Focus and Concentration time: 2-3 minutes focus on rocks dropping in a vessel. Kids are getting good at this, almost all of them got their stickers this class.
Story Time Focus: 'F' for Friendship
-Kids spoke about why they needed friends and why they are special to us. We discussed ways to behave to earn new friends and keep the old ones. Also, how not to behave so we do not lose our friends.
- Story of Friendship: Krishna and Sudama
Activity
An activity with a sheet of paper that helps kids (and adults) understand that 'words spoken cannot be taken back' and so it is important to think before we speak. Speaking kind words and keeping back the harsh ones.
Yoga and Stretching: Some stretching, jumping and moving about so kids are ready for the next activity.
Geetha Chanting: Chapter 11 - first 3 verses revision
