Section 1
Today many of our friends did not attend the class. We could learn a lot from Meera aunty. She taught us how to meditate and led us with prayers. We also thank Stuti’s Dad for helping out in class. We missed you Reshma Aunty. Class needs to practice Gita. There are classes starting in the ashram on Thursdays and Fridays. Please take advantage of them if you are not practicing at home. Today’s letter M for Mother was so close to our hearts. All the moms should be proud of their wonderful children. They may not tell you how thankful they are for all that you do for them however in class we could see how much they appreciate and love you. Children were so enthusiastic to list all the things their moms did for them. Most of them said they like it when they hug and kiss their moms. They wanted to help moms cook and clean at home (Wonder how much they can help you with that). We listened to the story of the Kissing Hand and another story of the mom who climbed a big wall just to reach her baby. We also did Likhita japa till it was time for us to go to the auditorium.

Section 2
Today was cold white morning. We had a lot of kids missing class today. We are very thankful to Aakash's dad for helping out in class. We started with our morning prayers followed by shlokas and bhajans. We learnt a new shloka ramaya rama bhadraya and did gita chanting learning 6th verse. Most of them know their gita till verse 3 and some know verse 4. We all need to practice our gita chanting. Hope parents have picked bhagavat gita cd from the book store. For all those who do not have it you can either follow the link from the blog or attend classes Thursdays and Fridays at the ashram. Please do practice gita chanting at home and encourage kids to listen in the car or at home. In our alphabet safari todays letter was M. Children guessed almost immediately M is for mother. Children enthusiastically told all things their mother's did for them and we followed with a story of Rudra. We also did likita japa of om and ram followed by arati and pledge at the auditorium.

Next Sunday we do not have balavihar we will meet again week after. So, enjoy the long weekend and practice your gita.
